What is a SoundBath?

A SoundBath is a deeply immersive, meditative experience where participants are “bathed” in the healing vibrations of sound. It typically involves lying down in a comfortable position while a practitioner plays a variety of instruments, such as crystal singing bowls, drums, gongs, chimes, and tuning forks, that create harmonic frequencies designed to calm the nervous system and bring the body and mind into a state of balance.

For someone unfamiliar, it’s helpful to think of a SoundBath not as a concert or performance, but as a form of sound therapy. There’s no water involved—“bath” refers to how the sound waves gently wash over you, creating a sense of peace and inner stillness. The experience can help reduce stress, support emotional release, enhance mental clarity, and promote deep relaxation, even for those who find traditional meditation difficult.

At its core, a SoundBath is an invitation to slow down, listen, and reconnect—with yourself, your breath, and the present moment. It’s accessible to everyone, and each person’s experience is uniquely their own.
